Criteria for promotion to Medicine level for nominees who have been employed (health/health-related work settings):
- Latest performance evaluation (PES or equivalent in private institutions) - 40%
- Endorsement from sending agency or sponsoring municipality or province - 20%
- Health human resource complement of the sponsoring municipality/province - 10%
- Passed the Medical pre-qualifying examination and Interview - 10%
- Academic standing - 20%
Note: Applicants to Medicine must have taken the NMAT with a score on the 15th percentile or higher.
Criteria for nominees who are recipients of other Scholarships (e.g. PinoyMD):
- Endorsement and approval of scholarship financial support from sending agency (GO/NGO) - 60%
- Passed the Medical pre-qualifying examination and Interview - 20%
- NMAT Score - 10%
- Academic standing - 10%
